heyo!

I think the "force rounds" In retakes need to be removed/edited.

Force rounds are nice but quite unfair. In the 3 force rounds played people that have armor, head armor, and no armor at all are random. With this happening its unfair for 2 smg fights while 1 has armor and the other none, and also that people now can use USP and just hs you range etc. I think if possible make it all have armor or remove it. Also another thing to note is that 3 pistol rounds dont really seem fun 100% of the time usp rounds have a 1v1 (people who join map first) and 2 additional rounds..pistol rounds are really fun so I think maybe we should make like 5 pistol rounds or 6 if force is removed, then 2 or 3 force / 10.

I disagree the ability to work with the available resources during a round is good in a pug or comp it will not be an even fight in force rounds most of the time. So being at a disadvantage and an advantage each round allows to practice for those scenarios.

I do agree that there are 30 rounds maybe more if you extend and 3 pistol is nearly not enough as some people join late it should be around 5 but we should keep force buy rounds where they are in terms of amount.

Utility is something, and armor is another thing. Having no armor at all vs a full armor is not the way force rounds should work...You have no chance and remind you this is retakes. It should be fair for everyone as retakes people dont do teamwork like pugs, they come to enjoy and chill in it.

Good point, I agree with you that they shouldn't have a SMG if they have no armor and if you can't rely on you teammates it can be frustrating, but I still feel that there should be half armor in rotation. I would also like to see some change to the armor system for force rounds if possible.

Ye in the end its retakes..not a pug where you want teamwork..It's for people to chill out and hf. Also more pistol rounds would be awesome and way more fun

I'm hoping more people will chime in with their input on this.

There's different Retakes weapon plugins that we can use. Each will change the rounds up.

Each will have there own set of options too. This can be changed, but I don't want to until we get more people to give their view (y)

I'm watching this thread though :)

I personally am not a fan of force buy rounds in retakes at all. With the recent economy change, the amount of force buy rounds in a given match has dropped due to players being able to full buy more often. I think decreasing the amount of force buy rounds in retakes to mirror the new meta would benefit players the most.

I'd recommend having 5 pistols rounds as they said above, 2 force rounds (at most), and the rest as regular gun rounds. I know that this can be done with the current retakes system, so I do not think that changing the plugin would do much; unless another plugin offers different and more interesting types of rounds.

Also, there should should be a warmup time of 30 seconds so that all players can load into the map before retakes starts.

Just to chime in, I think force rounds are not particularly fun and they seem to be the #1 thing that is complained about whenever I am in the retakes. I personally do not see any realism in having a round where BOTH teams are economically disadvantaged, and I do not see a round where one team has an obvious advantage in a force-buy situation being fun. I believe that removing force rounds altogether is the best course of action.

I also agree that pistol rounds are few and far between. Personally I felt that the previous retake setup* we used in mid-late 2018 was the best thus far.

*I do not recall the name of this particular plugin and I do not recall the exact time-frame it was active, although I do know for a fact it was within the window given.

I know I'm somewhat late to the thread concerning force buy rounds but I agree, their unpredictability and their somewhat annoyance due to the usage of "run and gun" weapons can really hinder a retake server. While I think one or two force buy rounds makes sense, 5 to even 6 of them seem extreme. The other thing I'd add is that I believe you should be allowed to use a pistol during these force buys and then you are supplied with full armor and possibly more utility. The fact that you can't even use the deagle or five-seven etc seems very out of place.
