If you haven't already heard, Discord has had some major Terms of Service updates over the past week or two. The most of important being an arbitration clause they added. This states that unless you opt out, you can not bring Discord to court for doing things like leaking/selling your information whether it's intentional or unintentional. The information on how to opt out can be found on the terms but I'll give brief instructions here.
1. If you go to the terms and use Ctrl/Command + F on your browser to search the word "Arbitration". Towards the bottom you'll find an email address (arbitration-opt-out@discord.com).
2. Send an email with the same email your discord is linked to, here is an example.
to: arbitration-opt-out@discord.com
Subject: Arbitration Opt Out
My discord account associated with these email needs to be opted out of the Arbitration agreement.
Note: The terms say you have 90 days to do it but it's best to do it now rather than later.
I encourage you to visit the Discord subreddit if you have anymore questions.
