Hey guys, how are things going?
I've been thinking of holding a possible DM event, with PRIZES! (If this goes well, I'll probably do a Retakes Event too!)
I don't have time to go nuts with details, but I was thinking of something like this...
I would pick 1 or 2 servers, probably just 1 to make things a lot easier, but it can be done with more than 1.
I would run this server off of a new db for RankMe. This new db would be used for events only. It would be reset after each event. Whoever has the most amount of points at closing time, wins. Simple.
There would be lots of prizes to be won!
I could pick say 3 people at random and give them prizes, just for playing! Prizes like that would be given away on the site. With rankme, I can track the total amount of people played. So if 500 join, I can see that and I'll randomly generate a number between 1-500.. People will need to checkout the site after the closing time to see if they've won any of the random prizes.
This is just a rough idea. I'm open to any suggestions.
