About DMFrenzy Retakes
What are CS2 retakes?
Retakes are a community game mode where the bomb is already planted at the start of the round. CTs try to retake the site and defuse; Ts try to hold it and let it explode. Fast, repetitive, perfect for sharpening site execution.
How do I join a DMFrenzy retake server?
Enable the developer console in CS2 (Settings → Game → Enable Developer Console). Then copy any retake IP from the list above, press ~, and type connect <ip> — for example connect 172.96.166.59:27015. No matchmaking queue to wait in.
What regions do you have retake servers in?
Right now: NY, DAL, and CHI. Pick the region closest to you for the lowest ping. More regions are coming as we scale up — check the Discord for the latest list.
Were these the retake servers from CS:GO?
Same crew, same setup, now on Counter-Strike 2. If you used to grind retakes on DMFrenzy in CS:GO, you're back where you started.
