Surf Server Map Filtering

I've noticed that there are some maps with two versions, and one version will be prettier than the other, or one will perform much better in terms of ramp smoothness, and I was curious as to whether not we are able to remove maps like this, that way, we don't have duplicate maps, and we can add more maps to add variety, and overall optimization to the surf server as a whole?
Also, do we have a thread for Surf Map Suggestions, and would we be allowed to post them as replies to this thread?

There's a very good looking version of Rebel that I like, but there's also a version of it that has glass in front of it, and a sketchy speed boost platform, which yes, i did abuse the hell out of, however, the map is ugly, and has more issues with ramp smoothness than the pretty one does, also, can we remove fun house?
It's not fun.
I mainly wanted this thread to be thing so we could cut down the amount of maps we had, to add more maps we haven't tried yet, this way, the server has more traffic i think.
