People like awping, like me. The spawn is annoying to die from but that's only if u die from it. There are many ways of avoiding it like karma said. Suppressing the use of an awp will be annoying to me and others that like using the awp. Limiting awping bc you die from the spawn peek isn't a valid excuse. In MM there is a lot of T awpers and CT awpers: in MM cts hold the site and ts have to take the site, which leads to my point. There are many ways of avoiding getting awped like shown in almost every MM match. T's set up smokes, flashes, Etc. There are plenty of nades for both t's and ct's, we definitely shouldn't add more. Not saying this idea is stupid but there isn't enough complaining ab it for owner to do anything. I like awping especially on t side bc ive used awp a lot in my time of playing csgo so this is kinda biased.
I bring up nades in my original post, I agree that complaining about getting awp'd wont stop you from getting awp'd in a real game of cs, but in a real game of cs I will have the utility needed to counter it, or at least attempt to.
Something else to keep in mind is that people dont typically play retakes because they are a realistic model of a competitive round. It is similar enough to grow gamesense, while keeping it unrealistic enough for people to enjoy playing retakes, and not just see it as practice or as a chore.
And yes, I do primarily play mirage, but it in no way only happens then.
-Dust 2, spawn ct/mid with an m4 and you're retaking A? You're gonna get bodied from car or ramp in the first 5 seconds 80% of the time. And 99% of B rounds will have the AWP back plat waiting to punish anyone that peeks from tuns.
-Inferno, B site new box AWP is almost guaranteed a pick from CT. It gets to the point where people in CT are hesitant to peek because they already KNOW someone is crouched new box. This wastes time, when you only start with 40 seconds to begin with; leading into another huge issue i see in the retake servers, which is people "saving". Too many times will there be a CT still waiting to push, as the bomb goes off. Im not saying the AWP's are the only factor in that, its more likely a lot of little things, but the AWPs dont help
